PARENT AND TODDLER GROUP  

Friday 1.30pm until 3pm.  

£3 per family - (1 or 2 adults with 1 child) extra child 50p babies free  -no need to book just come along -all welcome

 

 

 

We are now taking applications for our pre-school sessions for September 2013.  Morning sessions are already getting busy but there is plenty of availability for afternoon sessions.

Please ring or email us to arrange a visit on Mondays or Tuesdays.  You can also have a look round at the Parent and Toddler Session.   

  

 

  

Dorothy Stringer Playgroup has been operating successfully for 40 years.

The Playgroup is a play and fun plus constructive learning organisation.

Our latest OFSTED report was OUTSTANDING (March 2011) in every area.  

This sessional pre school playgroup is beautifully located in a wooded and grassy area behind Dorothy Stringer High School and adjacent to the open playing fields of four other education establishments, Balfour Road Infants School, Balfour Road Primary School, Vardean High School and Vardean College.

Located on a bus route though away from the busy hustle and bustle of the City Centre, and well away from any main roads, you would be delighted to find our setting in a clean and healthy spacious environment.

We are charity based, registered charity number 270262, officiated by a parent run committee.

 Opening Times

We are open for 38 weeks each year inline with school term times.

We are closed Saturday and Sunday

We are open for 5 days each week

The times we are open are:

Monday to Thursday 

9am until 12 noon  or

9am until 1pm (bring a packed lunch for your child)

12 noon until 3pm (bring a packed lunch for your child)

1pm until 3pm or

9am until 3pm or

and

9am - 1pm on Friday

We provide care and education for young children between the ages of 2 and 5 years
